On Sunday, 07th of December in Nicosia, at Lyceum of Kykko B’, the China-Cyprus Sports Friendship Day took place, a special event aimed at bringing the two communities closer through sports. The event was open to everyone and welcomed participants of all ages, both Cypriots and members of the Chinese community living in Cyprus.
The day began with the playing of the national anthems of both Cyprus and China, symbolizing mutual respect and understanding. Despite the rain, participants kept their enthusiasm high, creating a warm and collaborative athmosphere.
Organizers emphasized that initiatives like this strengthen the ties between communities, promoting understanding and harmonious coexistence. The success of the event confirmed that sports can act as a bridge, uniting people from different countries and cultures.
