PAFOS ZOO

Pafos Zoo was the first established and biggest licensed zoo in Cyprus and offers a great wildlife experience and we are situated just a few minutes from Paphos (or Pafos) in Peyia. Come and meet all the residents: giraffe, monkeys, meerkats, crocodile, kangaroos, albino wallabies, mouflon, white lions, tigers and many more.

CAMEL PARK

The Camel Park at Mazotos is conveniently located only 15 minutes from Larnaca Airport and centrally located between Larnaca, Limassol & Nicosia. As you walk into the Park, you will understand that this is truly a day out for the family. There are play areas for the children, games and so much more. The Camel Park is a place where all can also learn about other animals that live here such as ostriches, goats, deer’s, ponies, wallabies, lamas, turtles, fish, a lot of birds and many more.

Limassol Zoo

Located on the main seafront road, on the site of the leafy Zoo Garden, Limassol Zoo is a popular attraction for people of all ages, but children in particular. Following its reopening in 2012 after an extensive renovation, the zoo has been transformed into a tasteful site where wooden decks and open spaces dominate the scenery.

Limassol Zoo no longer hosts the larger exotic animals found on site prior to the renovation. However, the zoo features a large collection of mammals, birds and snake species endemic to Cyprus and other areas throughout the world. The collection includes the oriental small-clawed otter, cotton-top tamarin, hamadryas baboon, wedge-capped capuchin, lamas, cows, bulls, chicken, pigs, goats, a type of antelope (Southern lechwe), Patagonian mara, Cyprus pony, Souricata, and the show-stopping pigmy hippo. The zoo also hosts a large collection of bird species, including owls, black swans and flamingo. There are also alligators, turtles, and snake species.
